This large wall hanging adorns the stairwell of my home and is woven in my favourite colours. It is reminiscent of a piece of artwork I have done called ‘Giverny’ which I also love. I called it ‘Home’ as weaving this in my craftroom was a place where I felt in my heart most at home and the finished piece gives me a sense of comfort, peace and cosiness when I see it and touch it. It was made on a frame in three pieces which then had to be woven together and I would challenge anyone to find the joins as even I can’t locate them any more. It just makes me smile.
